24 Apr “Transformation is often more about unlearning than learning” – Richard Rohr
Transformation is about the journey, not the destination.
This painting by Maciej Wierzbicki, which I am titling Transformation, reveals the depth of exposure, exploration, and revelation during transformation. People are complex creatures and this painting invokes so many different feelings through the use of puzzle pieces, colors and props. The puzzle pieces are similar in shape and size, which speaks to our similarities. While the outcomes could be different dependent on the placement of the pieces. The contemplation, gentleness and inquisitiveness can be seen in the eyes. The use of the mirror invokes a meaning of reflection and thoughtfulness. The facial structure leads us to understand we are ‘under construction’ and the future is still unwritten. The texture and color illuminates a wonderment for ‘the future’, and stimulates an excitement and revelation on what can be.
Invest in Yourself. You are worth it.
Over the past several weeks we have been sharing different ideas to gain insight into who we are, from an internal and external perspective. We would love to hear from you about your exploration and transformation. If you would like to learn some additional playful and creative ways for transformation we have an event coming up on November 17th at the Sheraton Springfield. The details can be found here https://leadingtounlock.com/workshop-spa-day-sole-rediscovering-play/.
Fail forward. Learn to unlearn. Expose, explore and revel in how great we really are.
